What is a prosperity blocker? Basically, it is something that gets in the way of you receiving prosperity (whether its money, material things, abundance of something you want, etc).
Thoughts, emotions or beliefs are the things that deflect abundance most often. Many beliefs can come from our childhood and what we heard and learned from our parents. These beliefs can also come from our life experience and ideas that we have picked up from other people, society, friends and more.
Some thoughts or beliefs that come up for people are things like:
- “I have always struggled earning money”
- “I don’t deserve to earn money for the work I want to do”
- “I am not good enough”
- “I think wealthy people are snobby and I don’t relate to them”
When you have negative beliefs about money or prosperity, these thoughts tend to come up over and over. You might focus on them every once in awhile or even daily– which can lead to negative emotions about it. All of this creates negative energy around prosperity that is stored in your chakras and creates energetic blocks from what you are trying to receive.
If you are closed off energetically, then you cannot receive prosperity.
There are a number of ways to work on these prosperity blockers. Here are some things you can start with:
- Pay attention to your thoughts about money or prosperity and take note of a recurring thought. Take that thought and turn it around and use as a daily affirmation. For example, if you think “I don’t really deserve to earn money for this work” then change it to “I deserve unlimited abundance for the great work I am doing.”
- Sometimes the physical clutter around us is blocking new things from coming in. Try to clean out any items that you no longer need– donate them to a charity. Giving is a first step in receiving more.
- Focus on everything you have already in your life. Being grateful creates positive energy that is expansive– and you will attract more of the same.
