Post Session Self-Care

Here are a few things to pay attention to and try after an energy session. It is a different experience for everyone so tune into yourself to see what you need most.

Tips to follow:

  • Don’t make big plans for after a session. Some may feel very tired and want to rest and others my feel more energy. Listen to what your body needs— if you feel tired then allow yourself to rest.
  • Abstain from drinking and drugs– the goal is that the energy continues to move through your body to clear the blocks. These substances lower your vibration and dull the energy.
  • Take an Epsom Salt bath + drink lots of water. This helps to cleanse out the old and move the energy.
  • Be kind to yourself (and others). Releasing and/or shifting energy may cause new emotions to surface that don’t always feel great. This is your opportunity to address what shows up and continue the healing process.
  • Ground yourself (feet flat on the ground, feel energy up from the earth and feel it circulate thru your body).
  • Reach out to friends, family or myself if you need support.
  • This is a great time to start journaling if you don’t already. Pay attention to how you feel every day for a week or two and see what has changed. It is a great way for you to stay present and notice the subtle shifts and the big ones!
